Murt Issues Statement on the EPA Action Plan on PFAS
HARRISBURG-- Rep. Tom Murt (R-Montgomery/Philadelphia) released the following statement after the release of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Action Plan on PFAS:

“There’s much to admire in the EPA’s Action Plan on PFAS that has finally been released, especially that the agency finally realizes it must take action to clean up PFAS and to label PFAS a hazardous chemical. But it will take time before the EPA can implement this plan, and that means people will still be at risk. That’s why I will again introduce legislation to lower the acceptable levels of PFOA and PFOS in our drinking water in the Commonwealth to the lowest allowable in the nation. This action will provide a higher level of protection for the people of the Commonwealth.”
