Murt to Attend Candlelight Vigil for Peace
HARRISBURG—Rep. Tom Murt (R-Montgomery/Philadelphia) will take part in a Candlelight Vigil for Peace.

“We are living in troubling times where people are more divided where once we could find common ground,” Murt said. “We are holding this vigil to commit ourselves to finding that middle ground.”

The vigil will take place on Friday, Oct. 5, 7 p.m., at the Lord’s New Church, 1725 Huntingdon Road in Huntingdon Valley. The public is invited to take part in this nonpartisan event.

“I urge everyone who wants to stand for reconciliation to come out and stand with us,” Murt said.
