Murt to Host Military Family Information Day
HARRISBURG—Rep. Tom Murt (R-Montgomery/Philadelphia) will host a Military Family Information Day.

“This will help veterans, active military, and their families find a host of important information to help them face the challenges associated with serving,” Murt said.

The event will be Saturday, June 2, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the Home Depot parking lot, 2250 Easton Road.

Among those in attendance will be the North Penn Chapter American Gold Star Mothers, the Wings of Freedom Museum, Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds for Veterans ID cards (bring your DD-214), Operation Home Front, No Dog Left Behind, Montgomery County Veterans Affairs, Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, Freedom Steps, Alpha Bravo Canines, the American Red Cross, Wounded Warriors Project, the Order of the Purple Heart, U.S. Army and Air Force Recruiters, USAA Insurance, the Wings of Freedom Museum, the Vets Journey Home, Hope for Veterans, the DAV Van, the DMVA Van, and VFW Post # 3612.

Also attending will be Mrs. Philadelphia 2018; the Shamrock Reins; Vets Journey Home; Hope for Veterans; Hero’s Welcome; Mission BBQ; the Home Depot Kids Clinic; and Tony Roni’s Pizza, which will provide pizzas for lunch.
