Murt to ‘Work’ at Local Small Businesses
HARRISBURG--In a move to learn firsthand the challenges faced by local small businesses, Rep. Thomas Murt (R-Montgomery/Philadelphia) will volunteer a few hours at a number of local businesses in the 152nd District.

“Small business owners are the backbone of our community,” Murt said. “I think it’s critical that legislators fully understand firsthand what they face. That’s why I’m undertaking this project.”

The first business where Murt will spend a few hours on the job will be Lochel’s Bakery, 57 S. York Road in Hatboro.

“Lochel’s Bakery is a full line retail bakery located on the main street in Hatboro,” Murt said. “They are one of our best neighbors and understand the needs of the consumer and the business owner. I hope to learn a great deal from my time there.”

Murt will be working at Lochel’s on Friday, Feb. 7, 9 to noon.

“Please stop by and say hello,” Murt said. “I’d love to hear from you.”

If you are a small business owner and would like to host Murt at your establishment, please contact Ed Diasio in Murt’s district office at 215-674-3755 to set up a visit.
