HARRISBURG -- Rep. Thomas Murt (R-Montgomery/Philadelphia) will host a walk to raise awareness of intellectual disabilities on Sunday, May 19, 1:30 p.m. Registration is at 1 p.m.

“It is critical that those with special needs have the proper support and access to programs to enrich their quality of life,” Murt said. “So, please join us.”

The event will take place at Hatboro Baptist Church, 32 N. York Road. It will not take place if the weather is inclement.

The goal of the walk is to support and raise community awareness of individuals with disabilities.

The walk, which is about 0.6 miles, will take place through downtown Hatboro. The walk will begin at the church, proceed south to Horsham Road, crossing York Road, and return north to Hatboro Baptist Church.
